Version Comparison

In "Version Comparison" you can pick a baseline and a comparison version plus the desired filters in Version Selection & Filter Conditions. Click "Query" to view the metric comparison in Version Comparison, drill down across cross-dimensional groupings in Version Dimension Comparison, and review per-dimension Data Details. You can also switch to Multi-Version Comparison to compare three or more versions simultaneously.

1. Version Selection & Filter Conditions

Pick the baseline and comparison versions, and the corresponding time dimension (version cycle / time range). Set scene, device, and quality-setting filters as needed. Alt text

2. Version Comparison

After clicking "Query", the Version Comparison module shows the comparison of smoothness, hardware, scene, and other category metrics under the chosen filters. In the "Custom Metrics" tab you can pick metrics from any category and compare them on the same page. Click the icon shown in the upper-right of a chart to display values directly on the bar chart, or expand a small chart to view it in detail. Alt text

3. Version Dimension Comparison

The Version Dimension Comparison module shows drill-down comparisons that cross versions with scene, device, or quality-setting dimensions. Single-dimension drill-downs are provided by default; you can also pick multiple dimensions to drill down jointly via "Custom". By default the union of data across version × dimension is shown; you can switch to the intersection in the upper-right. You can pick one or several specific scenes, devices, or quality settings from the dropdown to compare. Alt text

4. Data Details

In Data Details you can switch between the data table view and the comparison view, and switch between intersection and union tables. In the comparison view, enable "Show Diff" to see the percentage difference between the comparison and baseline versions. Like Performance Analysis's data table, you can pick grouping dimensions and drill down per row. Alt text

5. Multi-Version Comparison

Click "Switch to Multi-Version Trend Kanban" in the upper-right to enter the multi-version mode, which supports comparing three or more versions at once. Multi-Version Comparison does not yet support cross-version drill-down grouping, but you can still pick a grouping dimension in the data table. Alt text
